We at Vinted would like to share some important upcoming changes to our team’s communication with all of you.
1. From now on, all official information and announcements about new features will be posted on the Infoboard (About Vinted > Infoboard). This will help you find all the latest news for Vinted in one place. The most recent announcements will always appear at the top, and you’ll find the older ones in the archive. Additionally, you’ll be able to give us a lot more constructive feedback, right from the Infoboard (https://www.vinted.com/infoboard), by clicking a button and taking a quick survey.
2. Our Help Center will become your first point of contact for questions. We strive to improve and update it everyday, and it contains the answers to questions that you face most often. In cases where you can’t find the information you need, or have a specific issue, please click the “Contact support“ button to speak to the team.
3. There will be an important change in the forums. Our team will no longer be answering your questions in the forums starting Nov. 2. However, we know how important the forum is to our Vinties, and so it will remain a platform for member-to-member communication. It will also have a new home - from Nov. 5, the forum box that contains the newest topics will be removed from the feed, as the team won’t be posting updates there any longer. You’ll find every forum topic under Browse > Community.
We hope these changes will make Vinted more efficient, and the team believes they will benefit our whole community.
The last important thing you need to know is that I will be leaving my post as Community Ambassador at Vinted starting November 5th. I can’t begin to express how much I have loved being a part of Vinted - I am a member who fell so deeply for Vinted that all she wanted was to represent its community. I want you all to know that, even if you couldn’t see it, I have been your biggest defender and ally. I’m sorry if I ever made you feel if your voices weren’t heard - I heard everything, and I spoke loudly and with love.
The global Community Ambassador team referred to itself as, “The Queens of Heart” and that’s what I gave you, Vinties - my voice, my odd humor and my heart. Please remember to stay kind to each other IRL and online and always support your fellow sisters in this world - we need to keep the love more than ever.
And now my watch has ended.
With love and respect,
P.S. While I won’t be your CA anymore, I’ll still be sticking around as a buyer and seller as the og @thechickgoescheap.
