So my local Plato’s closet had posted these vans that they just got in and I called to reserve them. I want to know if I misunderstood the caption or if the store accidentally labeled them wrong. The caption said WO size 6.5 and I picked them up 20 minuets before the store closed and he showed them to me like are these the ones and I said yup those are it! That’s all. It wasn’t till I got home that I tried them on and noticed they are actually a size 8! I’m so sad cuz I love them so much and were a really good price :/ but my Plato’s doesn’t allow returns on shoes. So like did I read the caption wrong or did they label them wrong? I’ve already messaged them explaining what happened and I won’t know till tomorrow but I want other inputs if I am in the wrong or the store is and if I should fight for a refund.
If they don’t refund me any tips on wearing big shoes? Lol

The “WO” part is tripping me out. I’m not sure if that really refers to women’s sizing or if it has anything to do with the style. But if you look it up, 6.5 men’s size is equivalent to 8 in women’s size. (Quick google search of vans sizing) I always have to double check vans sizes Bc I’m normally a 5 in women’s but the size that fits me perfectly are size 3. I do the same with converse shoes. Hope you get it sorted out. Maybe you can re-sell them?
I do know a women’s 8 is a men’s 6.5 that’s why I’m thinking who ever made the post maybe looked at that number instead by mistake. Cuz like the WO part is what led me to believe they mean women’s sizing and I looked back at some of their shoe posts and they usually clarify mens or women’s.
You can reserve items from Plato that’s amazing. I would say it’s the seller fault besides the customers always right 🙃 but if they don’t refund my Plato actually does exchange depending on who is manager there
