How shipping works
On Vinted, buyers pay for shipping and choose their desired shipping provider at checkout. As a seller, you can choose the shipping providers you make available to buyers. You’ll receive pre-paid labels to ship your items each time you make a sale.
Shipping rates depend on the package size and both the buyer’s and seller’s locations. The shipping is always paid by the buyer, and they will see the total shipping cost at checkout.
When the buyer presses the “Buy now” button to purchase your item, they’ll choose the provider you’ll use to ship the item. We cannot track packages sent with a different shipping provider than indicated in the order details, so please respect the buyer’s choice. Otherwise, we’ll have to cancel the order and issue them a refund.
After you make a sale, we’ll send a pre-paid Vinted-generated shipping label to your email and Vinted inbox.
Sellers can choose the shipping options they make available to their buyers. The more options you make available to your buyers, the better your chances of making a sale.
Your shipping options depend on your location. To enable or disable a shipping option, go to “Settings > Shipping” in your account settings. Please note that it’s not possible to disable all shipping providers or international shipments. Learn more about managing your shipping options →
If a disabled shipping provider is the only available delivery option for the buyer, it may still be shown at checkout so they can complete the purchase. If you can’t ship with that shipping provider, you can cancel the order without receiving negative feedback.
Once you receive an order, you’ll have 5 business days to send the item. Unfortunately, if you miss this deadline, the order will be canceled automatically.
If you don’t think you’ll be able to send the order in time, you can contact the buyer to agree on extending the shipping deadline by 3 or 5 additional business days. The buyer can accept or decline this request.
