Beautifull wearable high heels, a collector's iten from Peter Fox. His shoes are handmade in Italië, with the finest materials en they are comfortable. I do not weer them anymore. Fox, Peter Peter Fox was born in London, England, and there he stayed for most of his youth. He attended Bryanston School in Dorset, Camberwell Art School in London and Maidstone Art School in Kent, where he studied sculpture under Don Potter, a student of Eric Gill. It was as a young man that Peter first became enamoured of shape and line. He entered the world of shoes at Harrods' Shoe Department in 1954. In 1956, he went to do similar work in Vancouver, Canada, where he still resides. He accumulated enough education and experience to open a store jointly with John Fluevog - where he met his future wife while fitting her for a pair of boots. Linda is the perfect complement to Peter, and their partnership as a wedded couple led to their first business partnership: Peter Fox Shoes in SoHo, New York in 1981. Linda Fox's keen eye for detail and colour adds the finishing touches to Peter's form skills and together they create beautiful and popular footwear that has always managed to keep just ahead of fashion's rapidly-changing wave. Fox designs have predated a number of trends: the Granny boot with the Louis Heel in '81, the Medieval look in '85, the Platform in '86, the Arts and Crafts look in '90, the Adult Baby Shoe in '93 and the Tudor look in '97. The collection encompasses many styles, from historic to modern & funky. At present Peter Fox shoes and boots are worn on stage in five current Broadway Productions.
