It may seem a little complicated but it's not. There is an inside button shown in photo 5. You would pull the other side over and take long attached belt and wrap it around your body to meet the short one and tie in a bow. NOTE: Some will call this color "bittersweet". Flawless, looks unused, too small for me. Size is XS, BUT CHECK THE MEASUREMENTS! THIS MEASURES MORE LIKE A SMALL. You can move that inside button over a little to make it more roomy.
