📊 VINYL RECORDS GOLDMINE GRADING GUIDE 📊
- Mint (M): the item is in perfect condition, often still sealed, and has never been played.
- Near Mint (NM): the item is nearly perfect, with no obvious signs of wear. The vinyl may have been played minimally, and the cover/sleeve should have only minor defects.
- Very Good Plus (VG+): the record may have a few minor imperfections, but they should not affect playback.
The cover/sleeve may have minor wear, such as slight ring wear or corner dings.
- Very Good (VG): the record will show signs of wear, including surface noise and scratches, but should still play through without skipping.
The cover/sleeve will have noticeable wear, including seam splits or ring wear.
- Good Plus (G+): the record will have significant surface noise, scratches, and visible groove wear.
The cover/sleeve will have seam splits, writing, or other defects.
- Good (G): the record will have significant surface noise, scratches, and visible groove wear that may cause skipping.
The cover/sleeve will have significant damage.
- Fair (F): the record may skip or repeat and will have significant surface noise and scratches.
The cover/sleeve will have major damage.
- Poor (P): the record is cracked or heavily warped and may not be playable.
