Verify your age
To continue using Vinted, you need to verify that you’re at least 18 years old. This is a standard check to ensure you meet our minimum age requirements.
Simply provide a document that confirms your full name and date of birth as it appears on your account.

You can use one of the following (if it shows your full name and date of birth):
- Identity or residence card
- Passport
- Driving licence
- Student ID card
- Social or health insurance card
- Public transport pass
- Bank statement
- Any other document that confirms your full name and date of birth
For your privacy, please make sure to hide unrelated personal information (such as ID numbers, photos, or addresses) from your documents. We only need to be able to see your full name and date of birth.
If parents or guardians wish to allow their minors to use Vinted, here’s what they need to know:
- Minors can only use Vinted under the supervision of the adult account holder.
- The Vinted account must be registered under the parent’s or guardian’s name, who will accept our Terms and Conditions and take responsibility for all account activities. This also includes complying with regulatory requirements such as KYC checks and the DAC7 regulation.
- Any personal data of minors should not be uploaded to the Vinted account.

If you’re under 18, only your parents or guardians may manage the Vinted account and verify their age on your behalf.
We may have to ban your account if you can’t verify your age (as stated in our Terms and Conditions).
