Listing was hidden or removed
Our Catalog Rules help make Vinted a safe and fair place to buy and sell. If a listing goes against these rules, we’ll have to hide or remove it.
On this page:
- Hidden listings
- Removed listings
- Appeal a decision about removed content
- Report a listing
- Good to know
If your listing is hidden, you’ll need to update it to follow our Catalog Rules. Once you’ve made the requested changes, your listing will become visible again.
You don’t need to contact us or submit an appeal for a hidden listing.
We’ll hide your listing if:
- The item is not in accordance with our Catalog Rules
- You haven’t provided the necessary authenticity proof for your item
- You haven’t provided proof that your item isn’t made from real fur
- The item's price, condition, size, or hashtags are inaccurate, unclear, or intentionally misleading. For example:
- The item doesn’t match its listing description
- Multiple (and unrelated) brands are mentioned in a single listing
- The listing was uploaded for the purpose of bidding
- Unrelated or excessive hashtags are used
- The item isn’t available or has already been sold
- The listing description promotes another marketplace
- The listing is in the wrong catalog category
- The listing photos are not good quality
- The listing contains several items, but you only sell one of them or sell all of them separately.

Prohibited items and refunds
We can’t issue refunds for paid services like Item Bumps for items that have been hidden or removed. Please note that refunds are also not possible if your account gets banned.
Selling identical items
The same items can’t be listed twice on Vinted. If you have a few items which are similar or the same, please consider doing the following:
- Create one listing and mention that you have 2 or more of the same item in the description
- When selling multiple of the same item in different sizes, include clear photos of each item’s label
- When selling multiple of the same item of different colors, note the color of each item in the description and include good quality photos that clearly show the color of each item
If you believe there’s been a misunderstanding about a listing we’ve had to remove, you may be able to appeal the moderation decision.
Note
If there’s no appeal link in the message you received from us, you cannot appeal this decision through Vinted.

- We'll always notify you with a Vinted inbox message about why we’ve removed or hidden your listing.
- You don’t need to appeal hidden listings.
