Deactivate your account

If you’re sure you want to deactivate your Vinted account, first, complete all of your active orders and withdraw any remaining funds to your bank account. Then:

  1. Tap the Profile icon in the bottom navigation bar
  2. Select Settings, then select Account settings
  3. Select Delete my account
  4. Tap the checkbox to confirm that you’ve completed all transactions, then tap Delete account

Your account will deactivate immediately. It will be closed to and hidden from all other accounts.

What happens to your personal data?

We’ll retain some of your personal data temporarily before permanently deleting your account. This helps us protect our platform by allowing us to recover your account if you change your mind and to comply with accounting purposes, for example. We’ll do this in accordance with applicable laws, and only for the specific purposes and time frames outlined in our Privacy Policy.

Deactivate an account you’ve lost access to

If you’re unable to access an old account (for example, if you’ve lost access to the email address), contact us using the button below. We’ll ask you to provide the account username, email address, and any other information we need to confirm that you’re the account owner. Once we’ve verified your ownership, we’ll deactivate the account.

Restore a deactivated account

You can restore your account for up to 3 months if you change your mind or deactivate it by mistake. To reactivate your account, please contact us.

Note
For safety reasons, you cannot delete or restore a permanently blocked account.
Good to know
  • Be sure to complete any ongoing orders and withdraw all funds from your account first. You’ll lose access to your money and information related to your orders when your account is deactivated.
  • If you need help deactivating your account, or want us to delete your personal data (GDPR Article 17), please contact us.
