Set of four vintage cast iron trivets featuring classic mid-century folk art and animal motifs, including a Distelfink heart trivet, rooster, turtle, and circular star design. Each piece showcases traditional Pennsylvania Dutch craftsmanship, known for decorative yet functional ironwork.
The Distelfink trivet (marked “DISTELFINK T-47”) was made in the 1950s–1960s by Wilton Products Inc. of Wrightsville, Pennsylvania. Wilton was one of the leading American foundries producing cast-iron kitchenware and home décor during that era. Their Distelfink line took inspiration from German folk symbols — the “Distelfink” bird represented happiness and good fortune.
