Burberrys Men’s 1960’s Trench Coat, complete with original to the coat, authentic zip-in wool Nova Check liner.
To find a 1960’s Burberry trench in this condition with original liner is incredibly rare nowadays. This coat is in unbelievable condition for its age as photos show. It is missing one button, and this is for the storm flap at the back - though this coat was made long before Burberry began embossing their buttons, so all you’d need is a generic 4 hole small Navy button (exactly the same as the cuffs, extremely easily found). Otherwise there are zero flaws to pick at. Completely original Burberry.
When worn with liner, the coat fits true to what you’d expect of a 48R, without it will of course wear slightly larger, though these are intentionally roomy coats to accommodate a layer underneath. The sleeves are maybe 1” shorter than what you’d expect on a regular trench, though this was the style of the day and these are the original and unaltered sleeve. In my view this looks fantastic, as allows you to show a bit of your jacket/cuff underneath.
Please take a look at all pictures and check the measurements taken for this item (below) BEFORE purchasing to ensure you are happy with both the condition and fit of the item. Thank you.
