Plant Type: Aloe
Pot Details: 5” white ceramic planter
My grandmother always said you needed aloe in the house. It started when my aunt Lisa was dating a guy with a motorcycle. One summer afternoon, she climbs on, bare leg against the exhaust. Immediate burn. My grandmother, calm as ever, goes inside, grabs some aloe from her plant, and smooths it over the burn. Lisa never got a scar. And from that moment on, aloe became a family staple—like a quiet kind of magic passed down.
This is what I call my “magic aloe.” It has babies all the time and flourishes with minimal care and minimal light. Also, if for some reason it dies in the first two months I will happily replace it!
